Job Title: Business Systems Lead
Location: New Jersey (Remote or Hybrid)
Onsite Requirements: Remote or Hybrid; occasional travel required, especially during onboarding
Compensation Range: $125,000-$140,000 annually + discretionary company-wide bonus

A growing distribution organization is seeking a hands-on Business Systems Lead to take ownership of its core ERP and CRM platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong professional to drive system improvements, reporting, integrations, and business process automation across Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), Epicor Kinetic, and Salesforce.
The ideal candidate combines advanced SQL expertise with Epicor development and reporting experience, translating business needs across finance, sales, and operations into effective technical solutions. You'll have significant ownership of critical business systems, visibility with executive leadership, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on how the organization operates.

- Own the administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, and ongoing improvement of Epicor P21, Kinetic, and Salesforce.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting, analytics, integrations, and business operations.
- Build and enhance Crystal Reports, SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, and embedded ERP dashboards to provide actionable financial and operational insights.
- Develop and maintain custom ERP business logic using C#/.NET, including P21 DynaChange Business Rules, Kinetic BPMs, and Epicor Functions.
- Create and maintain Kinetic Business Activity Queries (BAQs), customize user interfaces, and improve workflows through DynaChange Screen Designer and Kinetic Application Studio.
- Support REST API integrations and automated data feeds between ERP, CRM, and other business systems, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Administer Salesforce users, permissions, objects, fields, flows, automations, reports, and dashboards.
- Partner with finance, sales, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
- Coordinate with external consultants and software vendors on support, enhancements, upgrades, and technical issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and validate system customizations following updates and releases.
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
- Hands-on experience administering, supporting, or developing Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), Epicor Kinetic, or both.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL skills, including complex queries, query optimization, views, and stored procedures.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining Crystal Reports and SSRS reports.
- Experience building Power BI dashboards, including data modeling and DAX.
- Working proficiency in C#/.NET for custom ERP development, business rules, workflow automation, or integrations.
- Ability to translate finance, sales, and operational requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Experience supporting ERP data, reporting, or business processes in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
- Experience working across both Epicor P21 and Epicor Kinetic environments.
- Familiarity with Kinetic BAQs, BPMs, Epicor Functions, business objects, and Application Studio.
- Experience with P21 DynaChange Business Rules, Screen Designer, and portals.
- Knowledge of P21 and Kinetic REST APIs and ERP-to-CRM integrations.
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including security, flows, configuration, and reporting.
- Experience with inventory, purchasing, costing, general ledger data, and other distribution or manufacturing processes.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or a bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent relevant experience is also welcome.
