Job Description
Our client is looking to hire an Epic OpTime/Anesthesia Analyst - Application Coordinator for a Remote | 12+ month contract. MUST be a US Citizen (W2 only)
We're seeking an Epic Optime and/or Anesthesia Application Coordinator to support build, optimization, and ongoing production support for perioperative and anesthesia workflows. This role partners closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to deliver stable, user-friendly Epic solutions.
What you'll do- Provide Epic Optime/Anesthesia build and application support in a healthcare environment
- Gather requirements and translate them into configuration and workflow solutions
- Manage enhancements, change requests, upgrades, and release activities
- Execute/coordinate testing, validation, and deployment following change control processes
- Troubleshoot issues, provide root-cause analysis, and support continuous optimization
- Collaborate with perioperative teams, anesthesia providers, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams
- Epic certification in Optime and/or Anesthesia
- 7+ years hands-on Epic build and application support experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical and anesthesia workflows
- Experience with change control, release management, and testing in a production healthcare environment
- Excellent communication skills with both clinical and technical audiences
- Clinical background such as OR/Surgical Services/Anesthesia/RN (or closely related healthcare experience)
- Type: Contract (40 hrs/week)
- Work setting: Remote (see note below)
- Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension depending on project needs)
