Compensation Range: $125,000 - $145,000

Introduction
Our client is seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic Business Analyst to join their growing team in a newly created role. This position will play a key role in optimizing and supporting their Epicor Kinetic Cloud environment while helping the organization improve business processes, reporting, data quality, and system functionality.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of Epicor Kinetic expertise, ERP business process knowledge, SQL/data skills, and technical development experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who can understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
The Business Analyst will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze processes, develop solutions, support users, and help prepare the organization for upcoming initiatives including EDI, Avalara, credit card functionality, and additional system integrations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
· Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency within Epicor Kinetic.
· Support and optimize Epicor Kinetic Cloud, including BAQs, dashboards, DMT, Automation Studio, Kinetic screens, reporting, and system customizations.
· Lead application and solution development by gathering requirements, defining workflows, and translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
· Perform and support data migration activities from legacy systems into Epicor, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality.
· Develop and maintain SQL reports, views, functions, stored procedures, and queries to support business reporting and decision-making.
· Analyze ERP data structures, relationships, and business processes to identify issues and develop sustainable solutions.
· Support Epicor development, customizations, and API integrations, including future integrations with EDI, Avalara, credit card processing, and other third-party systems.
· Provide technical and functional support through help desk tickets, troubleshooting issues and working with end users to resolve system-related challenges.
· Document reporting, dashboards, technical solutions, workflows, and business processes.
· Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing business information and trends.
· Identify outdated or inefficient processes and implement improvements that produce measurable gains in data quality, processing time, and overall operational efficiency.
· Maintain current knowledge of Epicor Kinetic capabilities, ERP best practices, reporting technologies, and emerging solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Travel occasionally, as needed, up to approximately 15%.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
· Strong hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic, preferably Kinetic Cloud and Kinetic screens.
· Proven experience with Epicor data migration, particularly migrating data from legacy systems into Epicor using DMT and related tools.
· Strong understanding of ERP data structures, relationships, and business processes, with experience supporting manufacturing environments.
· Strong SQL experience, including SQL queries, views, functions, stored procedures, and SQL-based reporting.
· Experience with Epicor BAQs, Dashboards, DMT, Automation Studio, and system reporting.
· Strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash process flow within a manufacturing environment.
· Experience with Epicor development, customization, and API integrations.
· Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
· Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system and data issues.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
· Experience with Epicor EDI implementations or integrations.
· Experience with Avalara or other tax automation solutions.
· Experience integrating credit card/payment functionality with an ERP environment.
· Experience with Epicor APIs and third-party system integrations.
· Experience supporting or implementing Epicor Kinetic in a manufacturing organization undergoing growth or modernization.
· Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, business process optimization, and data quality programs.
· Epicor or related ERP certifications are a plus.
· Experience working with legacy-to-Epicor ERP implementations or major ERP transformation projects.
