Location: Fully remote - Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and must reside and perform work within the U.S. for the duration of the project
Pay: $60-$70/hr depending on experience 
Duration: 3 months
Hours: 9am-6pm EST, may be some OT and/or weekend work

is looking for an Event Specialist to join our client, a market-leading technology company that's transforming how organizations engage and empower their workforce.

The Event Specialist will support the management of comprehensive event lifecycles, from planning through post-event analysis, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on marketing, content, and vendor relationships. 

  • Pre-Event
    • Support booth/sponsorship logistics: contracting, floor plan review, furniture and AV orders, shipping coordination.
    • Assist with vendor and contractor management (booth builders, staffing agencies, swag/print vendors).
    • Coordinate run-of-show documents, staffing schedules, and packing lists for each event.
    • Support pre-event promotional logistics (booth signage, meeting scheduling tools, attendee outreach lists) in partnership with Marketing.
  • Event
    • Troubleshooting logistics issues in real time (shipping delays, AV, staffing gaps).
  • Post-Event
    • Support reconciliation of invoices and budget tracking against approved event budgets.
    • Assist with lead capture data handoff to Marketing/Sales Ops.
    • Contribute to post-event recap documentation (what worked, what to improve for next cycle).
  • Deliverables
    • ???????Event budget (one per event), kept current through event close.
    • On-site staffing and run-of-show schedules.
    • Post-event recap summary per event. 
Event Specialist Qualifications: 
  • 3-6+ years of experience in corporate events, conferences, trade shows, field marketing, or experiential marketing. 
  • Experience supporting multiple events simultaneously. 
  • Can independently manage event logistics, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Event operations experience including: 
    • End-to-end event lifecycle support (pre-event ? onsite ? post-event)
    • Trade shows, conferences, customer events, industry events
    • Booth/sponsorship management
    • Floor plans, booth layouts, AV coordination
    • Shipping/logistics coordination
    • Event troubleshooting
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party vendors (i.e. exhibit/booth builders, staffing vendors, print/signage vendors, swag providers, AV vendors, event venues). 
  • Project management skills.
