Job Description
Duration - 6 months contract to hire
Location - 3 days hybrid in Milwaukee, WI
Comp - 80-90/hour W2 and conversion salary of 160-180K (base)
No 3rd party/external help needed for thIs role

OVERVIEW
This is a critical project support role that's already in flight, with a clear long-term path: you'll help translate stakeholder needs into enterprise data architecture solutions, take increasing ownership of design and oversight, and help transition the work away from external vendor. If you enjoy bridging business goals and technical architecture--designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions--this role is built for you.
You'll be successful in this role if you can confidently lead enterprise architecture decisions and translate requirements into implementable solutions, including:

Architecture & Data Solutions
- 8+ years of relevant data architectural experience (or equivalent)
- Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps
- Experience designing cloud-based solutions
- Comprehensive understanding of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
- Knowledge of architectural design frameworks, integration frameworks, and patterns
- Ability to work through ambiguity and manage project interdependence
- Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate complex scenarios and determine the best technical approach

Cloud, Networking, and Security
- Deep understanding of cloud computing and platform capabilities (AI; AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of networking and security
- Ability to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-effective

Software Development & Integration
- Strong ability to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Experience designing integrated solutions across multiple teams and technologies
- Document architecture and ensure adherence to standards and best practices
