The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting day?to?day People Operations while helping build scalable HR processes for a high?growth tech organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants hands?on exposure across the full employee lifecycle--from onboarding to offboarding, compliance, and employee experience.
You will be a trusted partner to employees and managers, ensuring HR operations run smoothly while continuously improving how we support our people.
Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations & Administration
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system access, and orientation logistics
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and related systems
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, life?event changes, and employee questions
- Assist with payroll coordination activities (data entry, audits, reporting) in partnership with Finance
Employee Experience & Culture
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Help plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications
- Support performance review cycles, promotion processes, and manager support initiatives
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance tracking
- Document HR workflows and help scale processes as the company grows
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations using tools and automation
Special Projects
- Contribute to HR initiatives such as policy development, DEI programs, learning & development, and system implementations
- Support ad-hoc projects related to growth, restructures, or organizational changes
Required
- 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related administrative role
- Experience working in a startup or fast?growth tech environment preferred
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms, benefits administration, and basic employment laws
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism and discretion
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams
- SHRM?CP, PHR, or interest in pursuing HR certification
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving processes
- You're proactive and solutions?oriented
- You enjoy balancing structure with flexibility
- You build trust easily and handle sensitive information with care
- You're comfortable juggling priorities in a fast?moving environment
- You're excited to help build and scale HR practices--not just maintain them
