A Sr Piping Engineer responsible for leading process piping projects for heavy industrial engineering projects. Mechanical 3D piping design, stress analysis, equipment layouts for piping, tanks and pressure vessels.   

Required:

• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 10-20 years of piping design experience within the industrial piping process industry
• Stress Analysis experience
• Experience leading smaller and larger projects
• 3D modeling is preferred 

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Experience with pipe stress evaluation using Caesar.
• Takes responsibility for their portion of the discipline’s scope, schedule and budget and delegates accordingly to junior staff. Continued demonstration of reliability and accountability for own work products. Meets or exceeds deliverable deadlines.
• Prior experience with CADWorx Plant Professional & ISOGEN is preferred.
• Prior experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and PDMS preferred.
• Evaluate the scope of work using P&ID's and specifications to design piping systems while adhering to plant design standards.
• Display a good working knowledge of industry standard drafting practices, good mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of engineering.
• Has good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Lead a team on an assigned area or phase of a project and may be required to conduct field investigation trips to operating plants.
• Ability to support work for/in multiple other offices.
