Epicor Kinetic Systems Analyst
Location: Multiple U.S. Locations- Michigan, Arizona (Phoenix), Arkansas, Texas (Houston), or Georgia (Atlanta)
Onsite Requirements: Hybrid/Onsite
Compensation Range: $115,000-$125,000 base + 15% bonus
Benefits: Benefits effective Day 1; 401(k) with 4% company match; 3-4 weeks vacation; ESOP eligibility after 1 year


Introduction
Our client is a global manufacturing and distribution organization seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic Systems Analyst to join their IT Applications team.
This role will support a highly customized Epicor Kinetic 2024 Private Cloud environment spanning multiple sites and companies. The organization utilizes Epicor across both manufacturing and distribution operations, with significant activity around MRP, order transfers, EDI, warehouse operations, and API integrations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Epicor Kinetic experience and be comfortable operating at the intersection of ERP functionality, business processes, end-user support, and technical problem-solving. The organization is continuing its Kinetic transformation with a goal of being fully standardized on Kinetic by 2027, making this an exciting time to join the team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Epicor Kinetic users across manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Manage and respond to ERP application support tickets, diagnosing issues and coordinating solutions as needed.
  • Consult with business departments on the effective use of Epicor and recommend industry best practices and process improvements.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Epicor BAQs and Dashboards to support business reporting and operational needs.
  • Monitor ERP processes and troubleshoot application issues across a multi-site, multi-company environment.
  • Gather, document, and test business requirements for system enhancements and application changes.
  • Support and maintain Epicor BPMs within a customized Kinetic environment.
  • Assist with ERP-related projects, implementations, enhancements, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support functionality including MRP, warehouse operations, quote-to-cash processes, financial/GL configuration, and order transfers.
  • Work with the broader IT team to troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues involving EDI, APIs, and connected business systems.
  • Develop positive relationships with end users and business leaders while helping drive effective technology adoption.
  • Facilitate end-user training and assist with documentation surrounding system functionality and business processes.
  • Ensure application changes and processes align with established IT standards and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Epicor Kinetic ERP experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Hands-on experience with several of the following: MRP, Epicor Kinetic Warehouse/Mobile, Quote-to-Cash, Financial/GL setup and configuration, Application Studio, BAQs, Dashboards, and BPMs.
  • Experience supporting multi-site and multi-company Epicor environments.
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting, testing, documenting, and supporting ERP applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and determine root causes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, tickets, and competing deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Manufacturing Sciences, or a related field OR 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
  • Experience with Epicor Automation Studio.
  • Experience with SSRS/report development.
  • Experience with C# and/or SQL.
  • Experience working with Epicor APIs and EDI integrations.
  • Experience with Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or process-mapping tools.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems through cloud migrations, upgrades, or major transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working within a highly customized Epicor environment requiring ongoing BPM and application maintenance.
