Job Description
Sr Azure Data Engineer
Location - remote - EST hours
Duration - 3 months to start with potential to extend
Rate - 70-90/hour W2
Looking for W2 candidates only - no third party help needed for this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cutting-edge data platforms within Microsoft Azure. This crucial role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive large-scale migration, modernization, and analytics initiatives that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. Required Skills:
- 5+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure data platform experience
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Experience designing enterprise reporting and analytics architectures
- Strong background in Azure data migration and modernization projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Nice to Have Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- Experience migrating analytics platforms during mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise integrations
- Familiarity with large-scale reporting and operational analytics environments
