## SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Consultant (Contract-to-Hire, W2) **Location:** Irving, TX (On-site) ### Overview We're looking for a SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Consultant to assess current collaboration and content-management practices and build a practical, easy-to-follow playbook for using **SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams** effectively. You'll partner with business and technical stakeholders to define standards, improve information organization, and support user adoption across the Microsoft 365 environment. ### What You'll Do - Evaluate how SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams are currently used; identify gaps and improvement opportunities. - Define Microsoft 365 governance standards and best practices (practical, business-user friendly). - Create an end-user **SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Playbook**, including guidelines for: - Where information should live (OneDrive vs. SharePoint vs. Teams) - SharePoint site and document library structure - Naming conventions and document organization - Version control and document lifecycle management - Sharing permissions and maintaining content - Teams/SharePoint collaboration patterns - Produce clear documentation (quick-reference guides, templates, how-to's, and process workflows). - Recommend ways to improve business workflows using Microsoft 365 capabilities. - Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate standards and support adoption (training/enablement as needed). - If applicable, identify opportunities to leverage **Microsoft Copilot/AI** to improve productivity and information management. ### Required Qualifications - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment. - Strong expertise in **SharePoint Online**, **Microsoft Teams**, and **OneDrive**. - Experience building standards, governance, best practices, or playbooks for collaboration/content platforms. - Solid understanding of information architecture, document management, and version control concepts. - Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to create clear, user-friendly documentation. - Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from assessment through delivery. ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience with adoption/change enablement for Microsoft 365. - Familiarity with **Power Automate**, **Power Apps**, or related Microsoft 365 tools. - Exposure to Microsoft 365/SharePoint certifications (a plus). ### Additional Details - This is a **W2 contract-to-hire** opportunity. - Must be able to work on-site in Irving, TX. *We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.*
