Client Job Title: Electrical Engineer 
Duration: 6 months -Contract to hire 
Locations: Multiple locations 
Pay Rate: $85-90/hr

The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM and have the ability and willingness to engage in a variety of responsibilities to safely deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations. Candidates should be comfortable solving problems, navigating ambiguous scopes, and providing flexible solutions in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role will interact directly with clients, including organizations within the data center industry.

• Lead the detailed design of large-scale data center environments while following company, client, and project design requirements. May include leading teams dedicated to design activities.
• Work closely with engineering project teams and field personnel to complete and review projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Incorporate project schedules, budgets, and criteria into physical designs and layouts.
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to perform multiple roles and responsibilities simultaneously.
• Provide guidance and insight into design risk factors related to redundancy and resiliency.
• Conduct field surveys and review drawings and other data to assess existing facility conditions and develop summary reports.
• Prepare and review technical drawings to ensure installations and designs conform to applicable standards and customer requirements.
• Review drawing and modeling production work, including problem analysis.
• Provide guidance to ensure designs comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Compile data and prepare engineering studies and reports.
• Perform detailed calculations as required by the project.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise junior-level engineers and designers.
• Provide training and guidance to other technical personnel.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to determine project requirements.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Lead projects, including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Support business development activities, including developing scopes of work, level-of-effort estimates, and participating in site visits to understand project requirements.

• Previous experience working within data center environments.
• Demonstrated understanding of design risk factors related to redundancy and resiliency.
• Understanding of design differences among hyperscale, edge, and colocation data centers.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, including the ability to manage and create complex Revit families with custom parameters.
• Familiarity with data center tier rating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Experience utilizing BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit worksets, view templates, and project phasing.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results within established deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and leverage data and metrics to challenge existing assumptions.
• Strong professional communication skills with the ability to effectively engage in client-facing activities.
• Strong leadership skills with a desire to train and develop early-career and less-experienced professionals.

• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.

• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the assigned engineering discipline.
• Professional registration or licensure may be required depending on the nature of the work and applicable requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include criminal and civil background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records checks, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
