Operations / Distribution Services

The Operations organization is a dynamic, multi-faceted function that partners across the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. Operations also provides essential risk management and controls to protect and enhance the firm's assets and reputation. For every new product launched and every transaction executed, Operations develops and manages the processes and controls that enable efficient business operations.

Asset & Wealth Management

The Asset & Wealth Management organization provides investment and advisory services to clients worldwide, including institutional investors, financial advisors, and individual investors. The organization brings together traditional and alternative investment strategies while maintaining a strong focus on client service, long-term performance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Distribution Services

Global Shareholder Services is a sales-aligned service organization focused on investor servicing, record keeping, distribution support, consultative services, scalability, and operational controls.

The Distribution Services team manages relationships with intermediary client firms and supports distribution opportunities, client infrastructure, product and platform launches, and operational processes. This role will focus on enabling business initiatives, implementing strategic client and internal projects, identifying service improvements, and coordinating communication across internal teams. The position will primarily support separately managed account products distributed through third-party intermediaries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative service and operational guidance to clients while partnering with internal teams including Sales, Product Development, Engineering, Management, Legal, and Operations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client infrastructure and servicing requirements, including broker-dealers, clearing firms, independent investment advisory firms, third-party administrators, and retirement record keepers.
  • Monitor industry and regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on clients and business operations.
  • Research industry, competitor, and client best practices to identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Lead and participate in client-driven and internal projects, own deliverables, track progress, and communicate project status.
  • Prepare internal reporting, business plans, project updates, and other critical documentation.
  • Manage client inquiries and operational needs related to the execution and delivery of services.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies designed to support business objectives and strengthen market presence.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial products and services offered across the Asset & Wealth Management organization.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with client relationships, distribution activities, and operational processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions and enhance the overall client experience.
Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within the asset management or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics, financial products, and market trends.
  • Experience in distribution services and client relationship management preferred.
  • Experience supporting Separately Managed Accounts is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high sense of urgency and commitment to meeting client needs accurately and efficiently.
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
