Job Title: Marketing FP&A Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Contract length: 10 months
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs per week
Pay: $60/hr to $65.77/hr, DOE

Job Overview:
The primary role of Financial Planning & Analysis function is to analyze financial data (both historical and forward-looking) for strategic and operational decision-making. Key deliverables include formulating forecasts, profit and loss accounts, and financial models and performing variance analysis. Assist in driving the company's performance through commercial assessment of tactical and strategic sales and marketing pricing. Developing a detailed commercial understanding of customer business models, financial performance, and competitor market share.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The primary objective of Business FP&A specialization within Financial Planning & Analysis Job Family is to support the Business/Function strategy and drive achievement of financial goals and objectives
  • The role requires significant business partnering and therefore substantial knowledge of the business
  • Key responsibilities include leading and executing long-term planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and reporting
  • This role supports special business projects and initiatives and may include M&A modelling, diligence, and integrations
  • This role may lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals
  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles, and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience
  • Responsibilities might include:
    • Performing routine professional-based activities (early in career)
    • Contributing to and managing projects (mid-career)
    • Providing advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert)
    • Leveraging professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal) relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal)
  • Networks with contacts outside one's own area of expertise
  • Leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • Frequently leads subfunctional teams or projects and trains and mentors junior team members
  • Serves as a best practice resource within one's own area of work

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Solid Marketing FP&A experience with a strong focus on expense forecasting and expense management
  • Hands-on experience with accruals, forecasting, variance management, and reporting
  • Experience partnering directly with business leaders and stakeholders
  • The ability to independently manage processes, deadlines, and deliverables
  • A proactive approach to stakeholder follow-up and issue resolution
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills
  • The ability to quickly understand existing processes without extensive training
  • Experience working with stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones
