Job Description

pay: 78 - 80/hr

Summary:

Supports Epic Beacon oncology workflows, protocols, treatment plans, orders, infusion operations, medication workflows, and integration with clinical and revenue-cycle processes. Ensures oncology-specific configuration is safe and supportable. Level III scope: Senior resource; complex delivery, mentoring, and workstream coordination.

Core responsibilities:
* Build, validate, and support Beacon treatment plans, protocols, order sets, therapy plans, infusion workflows, security, and decision support.
* Resolve oncology workflow incidents, build defects, upgrade impacts, and optimization requests.
* Coordinate with oncology clinicians, pharmacy, infusion operations, revenue cycle, trainers, reporting, interfaces, vendors, and Epic teams.
* Develop rigorous test scripts, validation documentation, support runbooks, and change communications.
* Monitor patient-safety impacts, adoption issues, recurring defects, and improvement opportunities.

Level expectations:
* Owns complex or escalated work, leads small enhancements or transition activities, mentors junior resources, identifies root causes, and improves operating procedures and service quality.

Skills/Experience:
* Epic Beacon/oncology workflow experience, medication/infusion workflow awareness, testing discipline, clinical stakeholder engagement, and patient safety focus.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Epic Beacon certification/accreditation/proficiency preferred or required.
