Job Title: Project Manager - Deel

Location/Onsite Requirements: United States/Remote

Compensation Range: $75-85/hr.

Introduction

Our client is currently in Phase three of a large-scale global payroll implementation, following successful implementations across Asia and the UK. The North American phase is now underway, and they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the US implementation.

This person will serve as the primary project leader, managing the full implementation and driving the day-to-day execution from start to finish. Working closely with the Payroll Lead and VP of Finance, the Project Manager will provide the technical project management expertise needed to keep the implementation on track and successfully deliver the North American rollout.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical project management experience, a solid understanding of payroll, and hands-on experience leading a full Deel implementation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

· Take full ownership of the North American payroll implementation and manage the project through completion.

· Lead all day-to-day project activities, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.

· Coordinate closely with the Payroll Lead, VP of Finance, technical teams, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation.

· Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring milestones and deliverables remain on schedule.

· Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and roadblocks.

· Drive communication and alignment across technical and business teams.

· Provide the leadership and technical project management expertise necessary to successfully execute the implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.

· Strong technical Project Management experience leading complex implementations.

· Proven experience managing a full Deel payroll implementation from beginning to end.

· Solid knowledge and understanding of payroll processes and implementations.

· Demonstrated ability to independently manage day-to-day project execution and drive projects to completion.

· Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.

· Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (plus)

· Experience with PlanSource (plus)

· Experience supporting large-scale, global payroll implementations.

· Experience managing implementations across multiple regions or countries.
