We are Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for complex software development, including coding, managing small sections of ongoing projects, and closely adhering to deadlines. The candidate will also be responsible for creating design specifications, unit testing, and preparing technical documentation. This role requires maintaining professional relationships with customers and cross-functional team members while consistently meeting expectations.

The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will work within an Information Technology organization and across Operations and key business units to analyze procedures and design and implement solutions that improve data quality and process automation. The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will design, develop, implement, and deploy AWS cloud solutions based on standards and processes that establish consistency across enterprise data, reduce risk, and promote efficiencies in support of organizational goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and implementing serverless software solutions that support data quality and automation. The candidate will also possess strong technical skills and experience in data management and transactional systems, enabling them to design and develop elegant and efficient cloud-enabled data processes and systems.

Required Skills
  • Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in software development.
  • Strong and evolving competence in several programming languages and technologies, with working knowledge of multiple toolsets, technologies, and implementation environments, particularly in cloud-based environments.
  • Expert-level experience with React, Node.js, and scripting in a cloud-based environment.
  • Demonstrated advanced experience with AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS CLI.
  • Strong technical skills and experience in virtual infrastructure, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong design and development experience building and monitoring microservices, including user interfaces.
  • Experience with CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing full stack solutions using Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and computer science fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis and design, including OOAD and UML, as well as database design.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern software engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience establishing and supporting DataOps practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop tools for monitoring high-frequency data services.
  • Experience working on Agile teams with a collaborative Scrum team mindset and a willingness to support the team in any area necessary for success.
  • Advanced experience with AWS-supported programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with AWS services and technologies including KMS, ALB/ELB, Route 53, and VPC.
  • Fluency with CI/CD toolsets such as CloudFormation, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar scripting techniques.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and skills.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or other advanced degree(s).
  • Relevant AWS or other professional certifications preferred.
