Full Stack Engineer
Location: Remote EST/CT location
Contract length:12 months+
Pay: $80-85 per hour W2
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for complex software development, including coding, managing small sections of ongoing projects, and closely adhering to deadlines. The candidate will also be responsible for creating design specifications, unit testing, and preparing technical documentation. This role requires professional and effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional team members.
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will analyze procedures and design, develop, and implement solutions to improve data quality and process automation. The role will focus on developing scalable and efficient solutions based on established standards and processes that promote consistency, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and implementing serverless software solutions in support of data quality and automation. The candidate should also possess technical skills and experience in data management that support the ability to design and develop elegant, efficient, and scalable data processes and systems.
Required Skills- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated software development experience
- Strong and evolving competence in several programming languages and technologies, with working knowledge of multiple toolsets, technologies, and implementation environments
- Strong practical experience with JavaScript and Node.js in a cloud-based environment
- Understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Demonstrated experience with AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Step Functions, RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS CLI
- Strong technical skills and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure
- Experience designing, developing, and monitoring microservices
- Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions
- Demonstrated experience developing full stack solutions using Node.js
- Working knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns
- Knowledge of systems analysis, software design, and database design
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern software engineering principles and practices
- Strong analytical skills and experience developing tools for monitoring high-frequency data services
- Experience working on Agile teams with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Experience developing cloud-based applications using React.js, Node.js, and/or Python
- Experience with AWS services and technologies including KMS, ALB/ELB, Route 53, and VPC
- Experience with CI/CD toolsets such as AWS CDK
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases
- Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or similar scripting techniques
- Willingness to learn new technologies such as Playwright
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
- Knowledge of data science and/or machine learning concepts and applications
- Bachelor's degree and/or other advanced degree(s)
- Relevant AWS or other professional certifications preferred
