Job Description
Job Title: Java Developer IV
Location: 100% Remote within Wisconsin
Contract length: 10 months
Schedule: 40 hrs; Mon-Fri
Pay: $48/hr to $53.33/hr, DOE
Job Overview:
The Java Developer role is directly involved with the development and support of Java and JavaScript web applications. Within an existing application, the role will evaluate how to best meet requirements and implement enhancements as well as provide maintenance and support. For new applications, the role serves as a team member under application architect direction in developing Java and web applications in an agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide development support for new or existing software products, including legacy applications, COTS solutions, and new custom development
- Incorporate security and quality assurance to all software development activity
- Responsible for developing application code as assigned
- Follow SDLC guidelines and actively engage with Agile team members
Skills & Abilities:
- Mid-level Java experience
- Mid-level JavaScript experience
- Experience creating web applications
- Experience with a front-end JavaScript framework like Angular, React, or Vue
- Experience implementing unit tests
- Experience documenting or refining systems or requirements
- SQL experience
- Git experience
