Comp - $75-80/hr.
Cloud Software Engineer
Our client is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to develop and support scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, and backend services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, high-performing solutions using modern cloud technologies and engineering best practices. This is a long-term contract and is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite required in Malvern, PA.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and backend services.
- Build scalable APIs and data solutions using Python and/or Go.
- Develop clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and CI/CD.
- Leverage AWS services to build secure, reliable, and scalable applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Partner with engineering and business teams to deliver technical solutions.
- 2-5 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Python and/or Go.
- Experience building cloud-based applications, preferably in AWS.
- REST API development experience (GraphQL is a plus).
- Familiarity with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Docker, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Background building scalable backend systems, APIs, or data processing applications.
