IntroductionWe are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Solutions Architect to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across our enterprise SAP landscape. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Applications, this individual will serve as the functional leader responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our SAP ecosystem. This is an execution-focused role ideal for a senior SAP professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, partnering with stakeholders, and driving operational excellence within a mature manufacturing environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Serve as the primary functional expert supporting the company's SAP ecosystem, ensuring system stability and business continuity.
- Lead production support activities, troubleshoot complex SAP issues, and coordinate timely incident resolution across business functions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into SAP functional specifications.
- Support and enhance cross-functional SAP business processes across modules including PP, SD, and MM while coordinating system changes, transports, releases, and third-party integrations.
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
- 12+ years of SAP functional consulting or SAP business systems experience.
- Experience supporting a mature SAP ERP environment within a manufacturing organization.
- Deep expertise in SAP business process design, configuration, production support, and incident management.
- Hands-on experience supporting multiple SAP modules, including PP, SD, and/or MM.
- Experience leading business requirements gathering sessions and translating requirements into functional specifications.
- Strong understanding of SAP change management, transport management, and release coordination.
- Experience supporting SAP integrations with third-party applications.
- Knowledge of SAP master data governance, data quality, and ERP governance best practices.
- Understanding of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end critical business processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
- Experience leading SAP enhancement initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Broad knowledge of enterprise application architecture and cross-functional ERP integrations.
- Experience documenting business processes, governance standards, and operational procedures.
- Ability to influence business and IT stakeholders without direct people management responsibilities.
- Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environments supporting mission-critical ERP systems.
