Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional looking to build a long-term career in industrial field services and environmental operations. The Field Services Technician will support a variety of remediation, transportation, hazardous waste handling, and site support activities across customer locations and operational facilities.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a field team in dynamic industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks, equipment, and tools to support field service operations
  • Load, unload, transport, package, and organize hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Support remediation and environmental cleanup activities
  • Maintain compliance with all OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Assist with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs
  • Support warehouse and field housekeeping efforts
  • Travel to customer sites locally and out of town as needed
  • Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and regulatory personnel
  • Perform additional field and operational support duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in remediation, construction, industrial services, environmental services, or related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
  • Ability to work in field and warehouse environments under varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to travel locally and out of town as needed
  • Ability to wear and maintain required PPE and follow strict safety procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate tools and equipment safely
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification
  • Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification is a plus
  • Prior hazardous waste or environmental industry experience preferred
  • Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification strongly preferred
