Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hour + Sign-On Bonus

Work Hours: Monday-Friday | 12-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) or Night Shift (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and starting injection molding presses, optimizing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. You'll work closely with engineering and tooling teams to improve manufacturing performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and start injection molding equipment and robotic systems for production.
  • Load and verify machine programs to ensure efficient processing.
  • Monitor production performance and troubleshoot processing issues.
  • Perform mold setups and develop setup documentation.
  • Support process development, validation, and qualification activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and documentation procedures.
  • Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality and performance goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree or related education preferred.
  • 5+ years of plastics injection molding or related manufacturing experience.
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with mold setup and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and qualification studies is preferred.
  • Experience with scientific molding techniques is preferred.
  • Knowledge of instrumented tooling (RJG, Kistler, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience programming injection molding robots is preferred.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour day or night shift.
  • Forklift and Lockout/Tagout certification preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
