Community Manager
Salary: $100-120k plus bonus
Direct Hire
Onsite - North Shore - Massachusetts
 
Must Haves:
-5+ years as a Property Manager, including residential/ MULTI-FAMILY ''market rate'' experience
-Experience managing a minimum of 350+ units
-Leasing/Marketing (Experience with leasing/showing of rental units and knowledge about listings, maintenance, etc.)
-Financial literacy, including reading financials/P&L. A general knowledge of accounting/being good with numbers is helpful.
-Experience dealing with several buildings
-Customer service experience
-Experience dealing with receivables
-Experience dealing with delinquencies/legal proceedings for collections, etc. 
-Driver's license and car
-High Energy
 
 
Nice to have:
-Spanish speaking
-Exposure to their system (Appfolio) or another real estate specific system
-HUD ( Affordable housing) knowledge experience
-Capital Improvements

Position Summary:

Experienced residential Community Manager for a well-established mid-size property management company with 350+ residential units located in the Revere and Lynn, MA. areas. The candidate will run the day-to-day operations of the portfolio with mostly market rate and some Section 8 units.

 

Responsibilities:

The Community Manager will be managing these units and will communicate collaboratively with your fellow office staff.

· Represent company management to residents and the public.

· Maintain high customer service and quality standards.

· Ensure employee and resident satisfaction.

· Manage operational reporting, accounts receivable/collections and cost control.

· Leasing/Rental

ü Marketing

ü Approve Rental Applications

ü Move-ins

ü Renewals

ü Rent increases

ü Moveouts

ü Coordinating with maintenance for turnovers

 

· Property Management

ü Tenant communication and relations using highest quality customer service standards.

ü Invoice approvals

ü Upgrade approvals

ü Work-Orders, building cleanliness and upkeep over-sight

ü Suggestions on capital improvements

ü Meet the budget for your own buildings.

ü Compliance with Fair Housing laws and other regulations

ü Lease agreement management and rules/regulations enforcement

ü Maintain accurate records of rent payments and invoices to residents

ü Accounts Receivable/Collections over-sight and management

ü Eviction notices and proceedings

ü Legal billing and interactions with attorneys

 

 

 

Requirements:

· Requires great communication skills, listening, diplomacy, tact, empathy, and attention to detail.

· 5-6 years multi-family property management and budgeting experience required

· Must be very familiar with the Revere/Lynn/North Shore area.

· Superior customer service skills

· Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

· Bilingual is a plus!
