Brand Writer
Location: Open to remote or hybrid or combo in CUL, CUP, NYC, or SEA
Schedule: 40 hours
Duration: 4 months
Pay: $100-$110 DOE

The Planet Group is looking for Brand Writer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 4-months contract, working a remote or hybrid or combo in CUL, CUP, NYC, or SEA.

Brand Writer | Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience relevant writing, creative, and brand experience.
  • Passion for brands and relentless in preserving their authenticity.
  • Articulate and grow foundational brand elements
  • Clarify and connect the relationship to existing structure of brands
  • Lead naming explores connected to the brand on product
  • Fuel strategic goals in order to evolve the product experience
  • Articulate core pillars of brand messaging
  • Define creative territories that embody the brand
  • Help connect the dots between strategy and design
  • Bring the brand to life through impactful copywriting
  • Create guidelines to define and scale the voice of the brand
  • Collaborate closely with design, strategy, and cross-functional partners to shape and sharpen how the brand manifests cohesively on and off product
  • Identify, orchestrate, and amalgamate key details cross-functionally
  • Craft how we share our work with fellow collaborators and stakeholders

Brand Writer | Description:

  • Extensive storytelling experience as a writer, including for brand experiences. Forges the voice of new
    brands and evolves existing ones.
  • Highly skilled copywriter and scriptwriter. Extremely agile with language and delights in the nuance of each word. Distills complex ideas into clear, compelling messages.
  • Curious, thoughtful, and precise with conducting research and translating learnings into effective takeaways.
  • Conceptual thinker who is specific, holistic, and strategic. Contributes to the big picture in every detail.
  • Connects the dots between design, product, and culture -- and can weave all of those elements into an impactful, memorable story.
  • Advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across different platforms and audiences.
  • Develops work for a variety of platforms and use cases and is skilled in thinking how those impact a range of devices, experiences, and scenarios.
  • Consumer-focused and effective in inviting audiences into new experiences.
  • Crafts brand stories that connect into culture and feel larger than the sum of their parts.
