Job Description

Title:  Construction Superintendent
Location: College Park Md
Hourly  38-43
 12 Month Contract


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for overall project success including but not limited to day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and quality
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings
  • Investigate, document, and resolve day-to-day field issues
  • Complete accurate job and progress reports and other job-related project documentation
  • Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work, identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule
  • Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress and performance.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors
  • Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors
  • Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with and knowledge of multiple construction trades
  • Ability to proficiently work with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Have driver’s license and own transportation
  • Ability to work all shifts and days
  • Required to have a minimum of 10 years experience with construction in the power industry.
  • Required to have 5 years experience directing craft labor on construction projects in the power industry.
  • This individual provides daily direction and supervision to the General Foremen on the project.
