The LMR Embedded Program Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing the successful execution of Land Mobile Radio systems in designated regional locations. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of Land Mobile Radio systems and technologies.
Pay Rate: $50-$53
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines.
- Track project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
- Proactively address challenges and implement solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Effectively oversee project closeouts and lessons learned.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
- Possess a strong understanding of Land Mobile Radio Systems.
- Review and approve design packages, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements
- Coordinate with design teams to develop accurate and detailed design documentation.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of appropriate equipment and materials.
- Ability to explain and enforce application of Land Mobile Radio Systems to other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues.
- Ability to attend and communicate in weekly stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct monthly meetings to report projects' progress and statuses with leadership.
- Mentor and guide team members to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team progress.
- Manage a trusted environment to foster productivity and value.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and audits.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the communications industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of Land Mobile Radio systems and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., SmartSheets, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc).
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma).
- Certifications in security industry standards (e.g., CPP, CSPM).
- Experience with specific Land Mobile Radio systems and technologies.
- Understanding of FCC licensing requirements.
- Knowledge of construction and facility management processes.
