BarTender Labeling Business Analyst III – (Contract) – Hybrid (3-days per week onsite) – near Los Angeles, CA
Biopharmaceutical organization seeks a Label Design Implementation Business Analyst, utilizing BarTender label design and VB Scripting in support of conditional logic, formatting, and integration with upstream systems. The ideal candidate will have supported full label lifecycle activities to include design, configuration, testing, validation, and deployment, while collaborating with IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, or QC lab teams. Additionally, this person should have experience implementing and supporting lab instrumentation in QC/research environments including label printers, scanners, nucleocounters, cytometry instruments, and similar. BarTender, Robar, VB Scripting, and Oracle E-Business are idyllic to be considered.

• Expert level proficiency serving as a labeling expert through the utilization of BarTender and Visual Basic (VBScript) in support of supply chain related labeling processes within a GMP environment.
• A history of troubleshooting labeling ecosystems involving MES, ERP, and printing hardware.
• Prior experience within materials management, batch/lot control, serialization, and regulated operations.
• Expertise in configuration/instrument support in Research/QC labs or Manufacturing environments like label printers, scanners, nucleocounters, cytometry instruments or similar.
• A history of working with Robar labeling software to include configurations, troubleshooting and integrations.
• Expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS or similar) for label data sourcing or workflow integration.
• Expertise providing IT support throughout career, specifically in lab, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Prior labeling system standardization, migration, or transformation expertise is a plus, but not required.
• Expertise supporting enterprise label architecture involving MES, ERP or middleware integrations is a plus, but not required.

• Working with pharmaceutical commercial, clinical supply chain, regulatory affairs, quality, and manufacturing to support label design to include requirements gathering and prototyping.
• Supporting end-to-end label lifecycle activities to include design, configuration, testing, validation, and deployment within GxP biopharma cell therapy environment.
• Utilization of BarTender to include design, automation, configuring templates, and server components.
• Performing label automation and dynamic behavior using VB Scripting expertise.
• Assisting with various label types to include In-Process, Final Product, and Clinical/Patient Facing Labels.
• Troubleshooting complex labeling ecosystems that involve MES, ERP, and printing hardware.
• Working within Materials Management, Batch and Lot Control, Serialization, and regulated operations to create and manage label creation.
• Serving cross-functionally to support IT teams on implementation, testing, deployment and support of label creation and management.
• Collaborating closely with IT, Supply Chain, Quality Manufacturing, R&D, and QC laboratory teams to ensure compliant and scalable labeling solutions.
• Developing and executing test plans for label functionality, integrations, and printing performance.
• Supporting validation deliverables/change control processes in regulatory setting.
