Job Description
Pay: $130K - $150K DOE
We are partnering with our client to identify a Senior Geotechnical Engineer responsible for overseeing geotechnical engineering projects from planning through delivery. Executing Geotechnical evaluation, design, and implementation, and guiding junior staff and coordinating each stage of the workflow. Experience leading a team of Geotechnical Engineers.
Required:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or a related engineering field
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the A/E/C industry
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain
- A strong proficiency in computer skills, including at minimum Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
- Geotechnical Proficiency: Utilize advanced engineering methods to evaluate foundation systems, slope stability, and settlement behavior, offering ground improvement solutions as needed.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Maintain consistent communication with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on track, provide guidance to junior engineers, and support companies growth initiatives.
- Documentation & Proposals: Develop thorough technical reports, craft detailed project proposals and engage in marketing and client development activities.
- Team Leadership: Set the standard by promoting organizational policies and practices, with a strong focus on safety, risk control, project execution, and quality assurance.
Pay: $130K - $150K DOE
