Job Description

A Senior Geotechnical Engineer responsible for leading geotechnical engineering projects from planning through execution. Provide technical direction and mentorship, oversee project management and financial performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-time results. This role is both client-facing and team-driven, with a strong focus on growing business opportunities and developing geotechnical staff.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, geological, mining, or geotechnical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • 5 years of experience managing projects and teams
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Ability to develop and grow business opportunities through client interaction and industry engagement
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead geotechnical investigations, foundation and earthen structure analyses, and seismic site assessments.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing geotechnical engineering team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering reliable solutions and responsive communication.
  • Support pursuit of new projects and markets through proposal preparation and strategic growth initiatives.
Pay: $130K - $150K DOE
