Job Description

Epicor System Administrator

We're partnered with a rapidly growing, mid-sized organization in a highly regulated manufacturing environment undergoing a major Epicor Kinetic ERP transformation. With a recent go-live and continued expansion, they are seeking a hands-on ERP Financial Systems Analyst / System Administrator to serve as the go-to expert across finance, operations, and ERP functionality.

This is a critical hire, someone who can bridge accounting, business process, and Epicor system expertise while helping stabilize, optimize, and scale the platform post-implementation.

If you've been through a full ERP lifecycle and thrive in environments where you can make a visible impact, this is a standout opportunity.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the ERP SME for finance, supporting GL, journal entries, and month/year-end close post go-live
  • Lead configuration, testing, and continuous improvement of the Epicor Kinetic system
  • Perform gap analysis, solution design, and deliver enhancements aligned to business needs
  • Write and maintain BAQs, reports, and dashboards for operational and financial insights
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and improve business processes
  • Support system integrity across AR, AP, inventory, procurement, and project accounting
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with internal/external support teams
  • Drive adoption of best practices and ensure strong internal controls
  • Assist with upgrades, testing cycles, and ongoing system enhancements

What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in ERP systems within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with Epicor (Kinetic strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience supporting full-cycle accounting processes post ERP go-live
  • Strong skills in BAQs, reporting, and system configuration
  • Solid understanding of business process improvement and system optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Nice to Have
  • CPA or MBA
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing
  • Exposure to ERP implementations or major system transformations
  • Advanced analytical and documentation skills

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • High-visibility role with direct impact on a newly implemented ERP system
  • Growth environment within a stable, expanding organization
  • Opportunity to own and shape ERP processes post go-live
  • Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Remote flexibility with limited travel

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $130K-$140K
  • Comprehensive benefits package available
