Epicor Data Engineer (Azure)
Our client is an industry leader in the indoor and outdoor furniture industry. They are currently seeking an Epicor Data Engineer on a contract to hire basis to join their efforts in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and storage solutions that enable reliable analytics and reporting. This team fosters a collaborative environment, puts technology first, and offers a wealth of growth opportunities. This is an intricate role for the organization and will report to the CIO.
Responsibilities of the Epicor Data Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
- Build and optimize data solutions within Azure SQL Server environments
- Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouse architectures
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data platforms
- Implement performance tuning and query optimization strategies
- Automate data workflows and monitoring processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data related issues
- Document data models, pipeline processes, and system architecture
- Support data governance, security, and compliance standards

Requirements for the Epicor Data Engineer:
- Experience with Epicor E9, E10, and Kinetic
- Proven experience working with Azure SQL Server environments
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes
- Advanced SQL skills - query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience designing and implementing data warehouses
- Familiarity with Azure data services
Compensation: $50/hr - $60/hr on W2 (1099 is available)
