Epicor Data Engineer (Azure)

Our client is an industry leader in the indoor and outdoor furniture industry. They are currently seeking an Epicor Data Engineer on a contract to hire basis to join their efforts in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and storage solutions that enable reliable analytics and reporting. This team fosters a collaborative environment, puts technology first, and offers a wealth of growth opportunities. This is an intricate role for the organization and will report to the CIO. 

Responsibilities of the Epicor Data Engineer:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Build and optimize data solutions within Azure SQL Server environments
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouse architectures
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data platforms
  • Implement performance tuning and query optimization strategies
  • Automate data workflows and monitoring processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data related issues
  • Document data models, pipeline processes, and system architecture
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance standards

Requirements for the Epicor Data Engineer:
  • Experience with Epicor E9, E10, and Kinetic
  • Proven experience working with Azure SQL Server environments
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes
  • Advanced SQL skills - query optimization and performance tuning
  • Experience designing and implementing data warehouses
  • Familiarity with Azure data services

Compensation: $50/hr - $60/hr on W2 (1099 is available)
