Epicor Technical Lead (Contract-to-Hire | Remote
We're partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented organization undergoing a major ERP transformation across multiple sites. With significant investment in upgrading and modernizing their Epicor environment, they are seeking a hands-on Epicor Technical Lead to take ownership of architecture, development, and delivery.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to step in as the technical authority for Epicor, influence enterprise-wide initiatives, and help build scalable, high-performing systems that directly impact the business.

- Lead design, development, and implementation of Epicor ERP customizations
- Serve as the go-to technical expert across architecture, integrations, and performance optimization
- Build and maintain BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, reports, and custom solutions
- Oversee integrations with external systems (CRM, WMS, EDI, BI tools)
- Drive system upgrades across multiple Epicor versions (E9, E10, Kinetic)
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Manage deployments, code versioning, and system patches
- Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver root cause analysis
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and adherence to best practices
- Mentor developers and help establish scalable development standards
- Deep hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (E9, E10, and/or Kinetic)
- Strong technical skills in C#, .NET, and SQL Server
- Expertise with Epicor tools: BPM, BAQ, APIs (REST/SOAP), Service Connect
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives or projects
- Strong understanding of ERP data structures and business workflows
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Experience with Epicor Kinetic UI / Application Studio
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure / Epicor Cloud)
- Integration experience with tools like Power BI or EDI platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Background in manufacturing or distribution environments
