Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Technologist IV
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202
Contract length: 21-Month Contract
Pay: $37/hr - $42.65/hr
Engineering Technologist IV Qualifications
Required
- BS in Engineering or Associate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and documentation
- Experience with engineering tools, drafting software, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- 6+ years of experience in an engineering or technical support role
- Experience supporting utility, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with engineering systems or asset management tools
- Experience with Maximo
- Provide technical support to engineers on assigned projects and operational work
- Prepare, update, and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and reports
- Utilize engineering software and systems to support design, analysis, and tracking
- Collect, validate, and perform basic analysis of technical data
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to support schedules and deliverables
- Ensure work complies with established standards, procedures, and safety requirements
- Identify and escalate technical issues or discrepancies as needed
