Marketing Analyst
Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Austin, Texas or Cupertino, CA
Schedule: 40 hours
Duration: 12 months
Pay: $53-$55.97 DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Marketing Analyst to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-months contract, working a hybrid onsite schedule in Austin, TX OR Cupertino, CA.
Marketing Analyst | Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, market research, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, appending, and manipulating large datasets (experience with Snowflake is highly preferred).
- Hands-on experience building interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau.
- Solid foundation in established research methods, quantitative statistics, and survey data analysis.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, intuitive stories that inform and inspire business decisions.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and bringing structure to open-ended problems.
- Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present findings to a range of audiences in person and via email.
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient with Excel for ad-hoc analysis and data formatting.
- Familiarity with R or Python for statistical analysis or text mining (especially for open-ended survey feedback) is a strong plus.

- Synthesizing Data: Using multiple internal platforms, external systems, and business context to uncover meaningful trends.
- Storytelling: Transforming complex data into timely, compelling stories that inform and inspire leadership and frontline teams.
- Tailoring Communications: Thoughtfully crafting your analytical approach and creating intuitive communications tailored to diverse audiences.
- Presenting Insights: Confidently sharing your findings and actionable recommendations via email, in-person meetings, and formal presentations.
