The Planet Group is seeking a Product Designer to join a UX organization focused on creating exceptional digital experiences for customers, agents, and prospects. This team is dedicated to delivering intuitive, high-quality solutions across digital quoting, customer service, and claims, with a strong focus on innovation and user satisfaction.
About the TeamYou'll be part of a large, collaborative UX organization made up of product designers, content designers, and UX developers. The team fosters a supportive environment that encourages idea-sharing, continuous learning, and design excellence.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a UX Product Designer to support digital sales experiences for consumer-facing products. In this role, you will focus on iterative design and testing to optimize the user journey and improve conversion, helping users easily access quotes and make confident purchase decisions.
Working under general direction, you will deliver user-centered design solutions while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders. You'll have autonomy in supporting your assigned product team(s), while also contributing to a broader UX community.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in daily ceremonies with product owners, engineers, and cross-functional partners including content designers, marketers, analysts, and researchers
- Translate complex product requirements into intuitive, user-centered design solutions
- Identify and solve interaction design challenges to improve usability and customer experience
- Gather and incorporate user feedback through research, concept testing, and usability testing
- Help define research needs and participate in user research activities to validate design decisions
- Work across multiple projects and product areas to ensure a seamless, end-to-end user experience
- Partner with stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and user needs
Qualifications
- Experience in UX/Product Design, ideally within digital or consumer-facing products
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
