Job Title: Workday Project Manager - HR, Payroll, and Financials
Location: 100% Remote
Contract length: 6 months
Schedule: 30-40 hrs; Mon-Fri
Pay: $70/hr to $80/hr, DOE

Project Details:
The City of Milwaukee is in the process of replacing PeopleSoft (FMIS / HRMS) with Workday for HR, Payroll, and Financials. We are looking to hire a Certified Project Manager with Workday experience. The selected candidate will work with the various City of Milwaukee departments to ensure the implementation project avoids issues / risks. It is extremely important for the Project Manager to be efficient when responding to incoming email requests from the various city departments and organized when documenting their needs and requests and must be an excellent communicator during stressful situations.

Top Required Skills (Years of Experience): 

  • Workday implementation experience (2 years' experience)
  • Project Management experience (2 years' experience)
  • Ability to coordinate with City employees and external vendor resources, documenting as-is business processes (3 years' experience)
  • Schedule Teams meetings with agendas and facilitate the meetings to meet the required goals based on project deadlines (3 years' experience)
  • PMP Certification attached with resume at time of submission

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Plan and document project tasks, based on project goals (2 years' experience)
  • Identify, assess and propose solutions to risks (2 years' experience)
  • Develop activity and resource planning, based on the Statement of Work (2 years' experience)
