Location: California, San Francisco
Duration: 9 months
Pay: $87/hr - $91/hr (DOE)

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Brand Media Manager to lead media strategy across two exciting and fast?growing business lines--Experiences & Services. In this role, resource will act as a strategic partner to marketing and business leadership, driving high?impact media campaigns that maximize efficiency, reach, and brand impact.

Brand Media Manager Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience at a media agency or digital agency, or as a media/digital specialist within a marketing team -- preferably in the consumer internet space in travel, design, technology, or lifestyle brands.
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly when working in-high growth business.
  • Digital expertise with strong social platform competencies and ability to drive aggressive growth and testing frameworks.
  • Experience in building new media and non-traditional partnerships to create tangible product extensions and integrated campaign work to lift awareness and adoption.
  • Good knowledge of all media channels, on and offline. Proven track record in integrated campaign planning including digital media planning.
  • Experience hosting on the site is a huge plus.
  • Adaptability and innovation mindset to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more languages preferred.
Brand Media Manager Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to marketing and business leadership in the US to design, manage, plan, and execute media campaigns.
  • Maximize the efficiency of media budgets while working toward campaign strategic objectives.
  • Design innovative, effective, and locally relevant campaigns to drive awareness and consideration.
  • Drive strategic and operational media excellence across campaigns to optimize reach, engagement, and impact.
  • Lead campaigns from communication strategy development through execution and reporting.
  • Develop integrated communications plans, including media mix development and media planning.
  • Manage performance measurement, budget management, online tracking, buy evaluation, optimization, and post?campaign reporting.
  • Collaborate with regional Connection & Media Activation Leads to manage media agencies.
  • Operationalize media and digital processes and templates within the evolving team structure and global measurement framework.
  • Partner with cross?functional business and marketing teams to ensure cohesive media strategies aligned with global creative platforms and go?to?market approaches.
  • Optimize media efficiency, creative execution, local relevance, and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Foster cross?department collaboration with Creative & Content, Finance, Performance Marketing, Local Operations, and Communications teams.
  • Develop media measurement frameworks in collaboration with Marketing and Data Science stakeholders.
  • Drive timely communication of campaign execution and performance information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about new media trends and emerging channels in the US and globally.
  • Identify and prioritize media innovation opportunities.
  • Bring fresh and creative thinking to ensure the brand leverages media in surprising and provocative ways.
  • Facilitate best?practice sharing across markets.
