HVAC Technician

Location: Neenah, WI
Pay: $28–$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift
Start Date: ASAP


Overview

A growing facilities services provider is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support operations at a large commercial/industrial site in Neenah, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who takes pride in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced team environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial or industrial HVAC experience and be comfortable working independently while maintaining excellent communication with site leadership and team members.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems

  • Troubleshoot and repair ACUs, AHUs, heat pumps, VAV systems, DDC controls, and ventilation systems

  • Maintain and service chillers, boilers, and related mechanical equipment (experience preferred)

  • Monitor and adjust Building Management Systems (BMS)

  • Analyze HVAC system performance and determine root causes of malfunctions

  • Operate refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging systems, and gauges

  • Perform brazing, lubricate motors and fans, and ensure proper refrigerant system efficiency

  • Maintain accurate logs including refrigerant tracking, water treatment logs, filter changes, and equipment readings

  • Complete service reports with detailed documentation of findings and corrective actions

  • Coordinate with maintenance planners to optimize preventative maintenance programs

  • Assist with major repairs and support other maintenance personnel as needed

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response


Safety & Compliance
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and all site-specific safety protocols

  • Complete job hazard analyses prior to maintenance activities

  • Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials

  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order

  • Participate in ongoing OEM and technical training as assigned


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2-year HVAC technical certification or state-approved HVAC license

  • EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification (required)

  • Experience servicing commercial/industrial HVAC systems

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to read blueprints, control schematics, and technical manuals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
