Junior NetSuite Consultant - Construction
Location: Remote - Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Compensation: Up to $90,000 CAD

About the Role
We're looking for a Junior NetSuite Consultant with construction industry experience to join a growing ERP consulting team and support NetSuite implementations, optimization initiatives, and client projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the construction industry and its financial and operational processes and wants to build a career in ERP consulting.
NetSuite experience is a plus, but it is not required. Construction industry knowledge is the key requirement.
You'll work alongside experienced consultants and project teams to understand client requirements, analyze business processes, support NetSuite configuration and testing, and help clients improve how they manage their construction operations and financial processes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support NetSuite implementations, enhancements, and optimization projects.
- Work alongside Senior Consultants to understand client requirements and business processes.
- Participate in discovery sessions and requirements-gathering activities.
- Translate construction business processes into ERP requirements and solutions.
- Assist with NetSuite configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist with reporting, dashboards, workflows, Saved Searches, and system documentation.
- Support project accounting and financial processes within NetSuite.
- Develop process documentation and training materials.
- Participate in client meetings and communicate project updates.
- Assist with post-go-live support and ongoing system improvements.
- Learn and apply NetSuite consulting best practices while developing your ERP expertise.
Construction Experience - Required
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within the construction industry, such as:
- General, commercial, specialty, or residential construction
- Engineering or construction services
- Project accounting
- Job costing
- Work-in-Progress (WIP)
- Project billing
- Change orders
- Purchase orders and subcontractor management
- Vendor management
- Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
- Time and labor
- Project profitability
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cost tracking and reporting
- Revenue recognition
- Construction financial reporting
Experience with a construction ERP, accounting platform, or construction management system is highly relevant.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in construction, ERP, business analysis, consulting, finance, operations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction business processes and financial operations.
- NetSuite experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with another ERP, construction management, or financial system is a plus.
- Understanding of project accounting and job costing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into system needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and internal project teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- MBA degree is 100% Required.
