Industry: ERP / EPM Consulting

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) Consultant to join an established ERP/EPM consulting team and support an enterprise client engagement that is already underway.

This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role for someone who can step into an active project, quickly understand the existing environment, and take ownership of NSPB solution design, implementation, optimization, and client delivery.

You'll work directly with finance and business stakeholders to improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial processes while helping clients get more value from their NetSuite EPM environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead NSPB/EPM engagements from discovery and solution design through implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Work directly with clients to understand financial processes, business requirements, pain points, and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct requirements and discovery workshops with Finance, FP&A, Controllers, and other business stakeholders.
  • Design scalable NSPB planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and system solutions.
  • Oversee configuration, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Lead UAT and user enablement sessions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve reporting, and increase financial data accuracy.
  • Improve data governance, financial controls, and reporting processes.
  • Develop dashboards, analytics, and other reporting solutions.
  • Help clients improve planning cycles, financial visibility, and overall decision-making.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales, Product, and Delivery teams on new opportunities and project initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal best practices, reusable solutions, and consulting methodologies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants when needed.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP/EPM consulting, enterprise systems, financial systems implementation, or related consulting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).
  • Experience with full-lifecycle EPM implementations.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and/or financial consolidation.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional and technical solutions.
  • Experience with system configuration, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational processes.
  • Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent strategic consulting experience.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP alongside NSPB/EPM.
  • Experience with advanced reporting, data modeling, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with global or cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is more than someone who can simply configure NSPB. We're looking for a trusted consulting partner who can understand the client's business, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and turn complex requirements into practical EPM solutions.

You should be comfortable working directly with CFOs, Controllers, FP&A leaders, and other executive stakeholders, leading workshops, presenting recommendations, and taking ownership of deliverables.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction, and solving complex financial planning and EPM challenges.
