About the Role
We are seeking a Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will integrate data from multiple enterprise systems to create high-performance semantic models, DAX measures, and interactive executive dashboards that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard & Report Engineering: Design, build, and optimize complex Power BI reports, KPI scorecards, drill-throughs, and bookmarks.
- Data Integration & Modeling: Connect to and ingest data from cloud platforms, Databricks, SQL databases, APIs, and enterprise systems; build and tune Power BI semantic models.
- ETL & Transformation: Use Power Query (M) to cleanse and transform raw data; write and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and joins.
- Performance & Governance: Troubleshoot report execution, optimize DAX and query speed, and maintain row-level security (RLS) and data governance standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with business leaders, data engineers, and DBAs to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
- 7+ years of overall IT/development experience.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience developing Power BI solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Deep Power BI Stack: Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query (M).
- Strong SQL: Expertise writing complex SQL queries, window functions, joins, and performance optimizations.
- Experience sourcing data from varied enterprise platforms (including SQL databases, cloud warehouses, and Databricks).
- Strong communication skills with a track record of building executive-ready dashboards and operational reports.
