Client Job Title: Electrical Engineer 
Duration: 6 months -Contract to hire 
Locations: Multiple locations 
Pay Rate: $68-73/hr.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM and have the ability and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities to safely deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations. The successful candidate must be able to problem-solve and navigate ambiguous scopes while providing flexible solutions in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role will interact directly with clients, including organizations within the data center industry.

• Lead the detailed design of large-scale data center environments while adhering to company, client, and project design requirements. May involve leading teams dedicated to design activities.
• Perform project tasks and assignments within established budgets and deadlines.
• Incorporate schedules, budgets, and project criteria into physical designs and layouts.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and job functions simultaneously.
• Provide guidance and insight regarding design risk factors related to redundancy and resiliency.
• Conduct field surveys, review drawings and other data, assess existing facility conditions, and develop summary reports.
• Prepare and review technical drawings to ensure installations and designs meet applicable standards and customer requirements.
• Review drawing and modeling production work and assist with problem analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and customer requirements.
• Compile data and prepare engineering studies and reports.
• Perform detailed calculations as required by the project.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise junior-level engineers and designers.
• Provide training to technical personnel in areas of expertise.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to determine project requirements.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience working within data center environments.
• Understanding of design risk factors related to redundancy and resiliency.
• Understanding of design differences among hyperscale, edge, and colocation data centers.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and experience creating and managing complex Revit families with custom parameters.
• Familiarity with data center tier rating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit worksets, view templates, and project phasing.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to consistently deliver results within established deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and leverage data and metrics to evaluate existing assumptions and approaches.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records checks, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
