HR Business Analyst
The Workday Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, developing, and implementing solutions within the Workday system. This role involves working closely with all Teams with HR, Payroll, IT, and other departments to ensure the effective use of Workday applications to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred
- 5+ years of experience working with Workday applications or other ERP system, including configuration and support.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Finance, Payroll, etc.).
- Experience with Workday configuration and implementation.
- Proficiency in business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and manage project plans, estimates, and implementations.
- Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact and develop relationships with all levels of personnel and management.
Essential Job Functions
Workday Implementation and Support:
- Assists in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday modules.
- Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday applications.
- Manages system updates and ensure smooth transitions during upgrades.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyzes and interprets business needs into system requirements and functional specifications.
- Conducts gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and system capabilities.
- Configures Workday modules according to business requirements.
- Develops and executes test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of Workday configurations.
- Conducts user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback with stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday.
- Ensures data integrity and consistency across the Workday platform.
- Provides training and support to users on reporting tools and data management best practices.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and optimization within Workday.
- Develops and implements best practices for system usage and process workflows.
- Works with stakeholders to streamline business processes and enhance system efficiency.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for Workday processes, configurations, and user guides.
- Conducts training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders.
- Provides ongoing support and guidance to users on Workday functionalities.
