Job Description
Role: Community Relations Specialist - Mid-level
Pay Rate: $38/hr MAX
Location: Hybrid

- Update grant program trackers to monitor the status of grant requests and overall programs, including budgets.
- Support community relations grant and sponsorship requests, including vetting nonprofit organizations and conducting initial reviews.
- Support the execution of grant programs by moving requests through the grant management system.
- Serve as a resource for database-related questions from external partners, including nonprofit grantees and applicants, and provide troubleshooting support.
- Track and monitor event sponsorships, including guest lists.
- Support research needs and other projects as assigned.
- Ability to navigate systems, maintain databases, and generate reports.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across multiple teams and projects.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve results.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with database management and/or data analytics.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with multiple levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple processes and workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an emphasis on intermediate-level Excel skills.
- Knowledge of the nonprofit sector.
- Experience with Blackbaud and iGAM.
- Experience using Power BI to create and generate reports.
