The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and ERP experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Experience with Sales and Customer Order Management is an important secondary skillset and will be particularly valuable for supporting customer-facing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, challenges, and opportunities.
- Conduct requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, process reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and enhance the user experience.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT, developers, and other technical resources.
- Support prioritization and management of business requirements and enhancement requests.
- Participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, system enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform functional testing, including development of test cases, execution of user acceptance testing, and validation of solutions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, functional specifications, training materials, and user guides.
- Support change management and user adoption of new or enhanced functionality.
- Provide ongoing functional support and guidance to business users.
- Serve as a functional resource for the organization's IFS ERP environment.
- Develop a strong understanding of IFS functionality and how it supports business processes across departments.
- Evaluate requests for system changes and determine whether requirements can be addressed through existing IFS functionality, configuration, process changes, or custom development.
- Work with IFS technical resources on integrations, reports, interfaces, and system enhancements.
- Participate in IFS upgrades and assess the business impact of new functionality.
- Sales & Customer Order Management Focus
- While this position is primarily focused on general business analysis, the Business Analyst should have a solid working knowledge of Sales and Customer Order Management within IFS.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, ERP support, or a similar role.
- Experience working with IFS ERP / IFS Applications / IFS Cloud.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and requirements gathering.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and translate business needs into system requirements.
- Experience with functional testing and user acceptance testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at both the business and technical levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IFS Cloud or previous versions of IFS Applications.
- Experience supporting Sales and Customer Order Management processes.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or other ERP-intensive environments.
- Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
