Location: Remote
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and maintain the next generation of personalization, feed, and search systems. This role is primarily backend-focused, leveraging Go, Python, cloud-native technologies, and distributed systems, while also contributing to React-based frontend development. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the stack and collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, and Machine Learning teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain next-generation backend systems powering personalized feeds, search, and product experiences.
- Build and maintain high-quality, performant frontend features using ReactJS.
- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code across frontend and backend services.
- Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks, tools, and services.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.
- Contribute to highly scalable distributed systems serving millions of users.
- 3+ years of software development experience in production distributed systems environments.
- 3+ years of Go and Python development experience.
- 3+ years of JavaScript development experience with ReactJS.
- Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Milvus, or similar database/storage technologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and/or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience building recommendation engines, feeds, search platforms, or personalization systems.
- Strong background in test-driven development (TDD) and software quality practices.
- Experience partnering with ML and Infrastructure teams.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Work on products and systems used by millions of users globally.
