Lead the Future of AI Innovation in Pharma

Are you ready to lead the delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions that will transform how a major pharmaceutical organization operates? Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager, AI Application Delivery, to lead high-impact AI initiatives supporting critical business functions across a highly regulated enterprise environment.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise AI adoption, partnering with engineers, data specialists, and business leaders to deliver next-generation applications powered by artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate brings hands-on AI delivery experience, strong Agile leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical, business, and regulatory challenges.

This is not a traditional project management role. You will own delivery decisions, drive execution, remove obstacles, and help turn emerging AI capabilities into scalable business solutions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, resourceful, and adaptable leader who thrives in ambiguity, embraces rapid innovation, and has the technical credibility to lead teams through complex AI initiatives.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of AI application initiatives from planning through production release
  • Managing Agile teams of engineers, data specialists, and business analysts using Jira and Confluence
  • Facilitating sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and delivery execution
  • Driving alignment across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership
  • Managing project risks, dependencies, priorities, and delivery roadmaps in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Coordinating AI development activities including model evaluation, validation, performance, and production readiness
  • Supporting technical decisions around AI solutions, cloud platforms, cost optimization, and scalability
  • Ensuring delivery processes align with pharmaceutical compliance, validation, and quality requirements
  • Creating transparency through clear reporting, documentation, and proactive communication
  • Building a collaborative team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications
  • 5+ years managing software delivery initiatives with experience leading Agile teams as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead
  • Proven experience delivering production applications involving AI, machine learning, LLMs, or advanced analytics
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications
  • Advanced Jira and Confluence experience including workflows, reporting, dashboards, and documentation management
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams and understanding technical architecture discussions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical teams, business leaders, and executives
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, make decisions, solve problems, and drive projects forward in fast-paced environments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Nice-to-Haves
  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other FDA-regulated industry experience
  • Experience delivering GxP systems, Computer System Validation (CSV), or Computer Software Assurance (CSA) initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with AI application delivery including LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI evaluation frameworks
  • Experience with Google Cloud, Vertex AI, Gemini, Anthropic Claude, AWS, or similar AI platforms
  • Experience managing AI-related cloud costs, scalability, and operational performance
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or cloud certifications

Why this Opportunity?
  • Lead high-visibility AI transformation initiatives for a major pharmaceutical organization
  • Work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise technology, and healthcare innovation
  • Partner with talented engineers, data specialists, and business leaders solving complex challenges
  • Play a key role in shaping responsible AI adoption within a highly regulated environment
  • Fully remote contract opportunity with long-term stability
  • Long Term engagement with multiple openings available
  • Competitive compensation of $85 - 95/hr (DOE)

If you are a Technical Project Manager who can combine AI delivery expertise, Agile leadership, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact. Apply today to be considered for this exciting AI transformation initiative!
