Senior Production / Graphic Designer (Remote)
The Planet Group is supporting a leading social media and digital advertising platform in the search for a Senior Production / Graphic Designer to join a fast-paced creative team. This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a designer who thrives in high-volume production environments while consistently delivering polished, platform-native creative.
Location: 100% Remote
Pay: $50-52/hour (W2 + benefits available)
Duration: 6 mo to start
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design and produce high-quality static creative for digital and social campaigns, including feed assets, thumbnails, carousels, and supporting visuals.
- Adapt, resize, and optimize creative assets while maintaining strong visual consistency and attention to detail.
- Elevate existing client assets with thoughtful design improvements and occasional light concept development.
- Create polished work from incomplete or evolving briefs in a fast-moving production environment.
- Balance multiple projects and tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional creative teams while also working independently when needed.
- Contribute to internal creative exploration and visual ideation as bandwidth allows.
What We're Looking For
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional digital and social design work (portfolio required for consideration).
- Outstanding typography, layout, branding, color, composition, and visual hierarchy skills.
- Strong understanding of designing for social platforms and digital advertising.
- Ability to produce high volumes of work while maintaining a high creative standard.
- Experience creating polished static assets for digital campaigns.
- Ability to improve and expand upon existing creative--not simply execute provided files.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Workspace.
- Collaborative, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone whose portfolio immediately demonstrates strong creative judgment--not just technical proficiency. The ideal candidate has excellent design fundamentals, produces work with a refined visual aesthetic, and understands how to create compelling digital creative that feels authentic to online communities. You should be equally comfortable executing high-volume production work and contributing thoughtful creative solutions when opportunities arise.
