Job Description
Our client is looking to hire an Epic Wisdom / PB Claims Consultant for a 12-month remote contract opportunity located in the ET zone.
Rate: $75 - $85/hr W2 or 1099
Length: 12 months - Project anticipated through early 2028
Hours: 40 hours
Location: Remote
Con Call: Completed - October/November 2026

They are seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing / PB Claims Consultant with strong dental (Wisdom) revenue cycle expertise.
This consultant will play a key role throughout the implementation lifecycle, supporting discovery, design, build, testing, documentation, and go-live activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level Epic PB/PB Claims expertise for an Epic Wisdom implementation.
- Support dental billing, claims, estimates, and reimbursement workflow design and configuration.
- Lead discovery discussions and collaborate with revenue cycle, dental operations, technical teams, and Epic.
- Participate in hands-on application build, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support.
- Mentor internal analysts and provide technical guidance throughout the project.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project decisions, rationale, and approvals.
- Identify workflow gaps, technical dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support knowledge transfer and long-term application sustainability.
- Active Epic Professional Billing and PB Claims certifications.
- Strong hands-on Epic PB/PB Claims configuration and revenue cycle experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Wisdom dental claims, billing, and estimates.
- Experience supporting Epic implementation activities, including discovery, build, testing, and go-live.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, operational stakeholders, and Epic.
- Prior Epic Wisdom implementation experience.
- New York State Medicaid dental billing experience.
- Experience supporting multiple dental specialties.
- Previous Epic implementation lead or senior consultant experience.
- Experience with complex dental reimbursement and payer-specific billing workflows.
- Academic medical center or large health system experience.
Large academic health system with an established Epic PB Applications team.
