Job Description

Brand Marketing Manager
Location: US - Remote (preferred NY)
Schedule: 40 hours
Duration: 6 months
Pay:  $100/hr - $105/hr (DOE)

This role sets the optimisation agenda, governs how channels are built and measured, and owns the calendar and resourcing other teams plan against. It works end to end with martech and operations, manages agency/vendor delivery, and brings paid social into closer alignment with organic, website, and search.
Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Channel roadmaps + optimisation
    • Own the channel roadmap and quarterly optimisation plans across paid social, search, and programmatic: priorities, sequencing, expected impact.
    • Set the optimisation agenda: find where performance leaks, size the opportunity, drive the fix to completion.
    • Translate business objectives into channel targets and guardrails for partners and agencies.
  • Portfolio management:
    • Allocate investment across WAB and M4E, balancing always-on and campaign activity against business priorities.
    • Maintain one consolidated view of performance, spend, and pacing by product so trade-offs are explicit.
    • Align channel plans to launch and growth milestones with product marketing leads.
  • Trafficking, tracking, integrations + audience governance
    • Own technical integrity: trafficking standards, tracking implementation, pixels/conversions APIs, UTM taxonomy, naming conventions.
    • Govern audience strategy: how audiences are defined, built, shared, refreshed, retired. Ensure activation is correct and compliant.
    • Own integrations across ad platforms, martech, and CRM so data flows from impression to lead to pipeline.
    • Define and enforce pre-launch QA so campaigns launch measurable and correctly tagged.
  • Calendar, timeline + resource management
    • Build and own the paid media calendar: the single source of truth for what is in market, when, by product and region.
    • Manage timelines and resourcing: set lead times, sequence concurrent work, make capacity trade-offs explicit.
    • Run intake and prioritisation for Integrated Marketing and regional requests, protecting roadmap commitments.
    • Coordinate regional localisation without breaking measurement consistency or brand standards.
  • Testing, innovation + vendor management
    • Own the testing roadmap: prioritise experiments, set success criteria up front, design tests that produce decisions.
    • Evaluate and pilot new channels, ad products, formats, and measurement approaches. Build the case to scale what works.
    • Manage agency/vendor delivery against the roadmap: briefs, timelines, deliverable quality, SLAs. Scopes and SOWs are set by the marketing lead (TBC).
    • Codify learnings into playbooks, benchmarks, and templates.
  • Martech + operations
    • Work end to end with martech and marketing operations: requirements, implementation, QA, adoption.
    • Identify tooling and data gaps limiting channel performance. Build the business case for investment.
    • Deliver interim solutions while longer-term infrastructure is built, then automate what works.
  • Cross-channel alignment
    • Align paid social with organic social, website, and search: shared audiences, consistent messaging/taxonomy, coordinated timing, connected performance view.
    • Partner with content, web, and SEO/SEM counterparts so paid amplifies what works organically, and paid learnings inform site strategy.
    • Support the ABM Account Strategy Lead on paid media for ABM: account-list activation and account-level media against agreed plays.
  • Reporting + analysis
    • Own stakeholder reporting: performance vs target, efficiency, pacing, pipeline contribution, on a fixed cadence.
    • Deliver analysis, not just dashboards: what moved, why, what changes next. Separate creative, audience, bidding, tracking, and landing-page drivers.
    • Tailor readouts to Integrated Marketing, regional teams, and leadership based on what each needs to decide.

Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • 8+ years paid media experience with direct channel ownership: accountable for a channel roadmap and its performance.
    • Paid social at scale, plus working knowledge of search and programmatic.
    • Technical fluency across trafficking, tracking/tagging, pixels/conversions APIs, UTM governance, audience onboarding, campaign QA.
    • Owned a media calendar and managed timelines/resourcing across concurrent workstreams and multiple stakeholder groups.
    • Designed and run a structured testing roadmap with defined success criteria.
    • Hands-on work with martech and marketing operations on integrations, data flow, and system adoption.
    • Managed agency/vendor delivery against a defined roadmap and quality bar.
    • Strong organisation and written communication: can produce a channel plan, a prioritisation rationale, and a readout leadership can act on.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in an organisation building its enterprise GTM infrastructure in real time.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Enterprise B2B technology marketing: AI, cloud, SaaS, or platform solutions sold to business and technical buyers.
    • Managed a multi-product portfolio and allocated investment across competing priorities.
    • Integrated paid with organic, website, and search under a shared measurement framework.
    • Working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM, and how paid media data flows into them.
    • Established audience governance or taxonomy standards from scratch.
    • ABM media execution: account-list activation, working alongside an ABM program owner.
    • Tracked media budgets across multiple regions and currencies.
    • Operated in large, complex organisations where influence matters more than authority
